you guys know she dosnt write her own books anymore? She went to writting them to writting them with Larry to letting Larry write them to her and larry outlining and editing her books but letting young up and comming authors she mentors actualy write the books uncredited and then introduces them latter to publishers to get published. this has been going on for about 20 years :0 im friends with her neighbor.

Mercedes Lackey is definitely getting sloppy. Too much filler (does anybody really want to read about Kirball?) and not enough real plot or adventure.

I agree. It definitely slowed down considerably as the story went on. And the ending was disappointing. Definitely a rush job.

Liked the beginning chapters but the last part bogged down.
