I was worried coming before watching this reboot. I heard that it wasn't very good. But after watching this for myself, it was pretty solid in my mind!

Although it is not as good as the original with Tobey McGuire, The Amazing Spider Man is a great movie that gives more information on Peter`s dad than the original. Garfield is a better Spider Man but Tobey is a better Peter.

The best spider man movie so far.

It's okay. Andrew Garfield looks far too old for High School.

The Amazing Spider Man is often messy, but is still a blast and Andrew Garfield plays Spider man perfectly.

This is awesome! The first one I watched was Spider-Man with Tobey Maguire, but that pales in comparison. This one was a lot better, and with a cuter Peter Parker :):)

It was good but not as good as the first 3 from Sam Raimi.

Great action movie. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Has great romantic scenes. Recommended. (Has some brief language).

Recently bitten by a special spider, Peter Parker begins to practice with his newly formed powers. He decides that he should become the city’s hero; Spider-Man. In between fighting criminals and being with his new found love, Gwen Stacy, Peter has many things on his webbed hands. Thinking that this is as hard as it’s going to get, Peter is faced with a stronger, powerful challenge. Soon he faces a villain that has just recently been formed in the city; Electro, a man who uses electricity as his powers. Soon, his old friend Harry Osborne visits and Peter realizes that the most powerful villains he has been facing have one thing in common; Oscorp. What will happen? Will Peter be the real hero in the end after all? Or will he be defeated by the villains that are far more powerful than he is?
I personally think that this was a great movie but also a very sad one. There was a lot of emotion in just one movie and the end was far more heart-breaking than I had expected it to be. Peter Parker, a.k.a Spider-Man was the person who this movie revolves around; his family, girlfriend, school, and much more. At the end, everyone ends up being in shock after what they just saw because of the way the movie pulls you in and leaves you speechless. The title also goes good with the movie because this movie is about Spider-Man and he is also amazing; The Amazing Spider-Man.

Andrew Garfield makes a VERY good Spider-man. Very witty and clever. As for Peter Parker though? Not so much.

Peter Parker is originally portrayed to be a "nerd" but Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker is too "cool" in the movie. I don't feel that underdog persona from Peter Parker in the movie compared to when Tobey McGuire played the character.

Other than that though, it was a fairly good movie. It doesn't have a storyline that gets you thinking deep (which is great for when you just want to chill and relax), and thus wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
