The lives of individuals in the Blessing family over a twenty-year period are chronicled in profiles told from their own viewpoints.
Wonderful characterizations of a middle class Irish-Catholic family from Philadelphia whose lives all experience change over time.

The Blessings is one of the best novel about family I have read in a long time. Elise Juska really knows how to tell a story.
