I own this book and I’ve had it for a minute so I’ll see how it is 💗

Updated: okay I could not finish this. Ahah halfway through I DNF’ed it. I just couldn’t. It got to the point of like just flatlined like very dull and boring. I skipped ahead to the end and was like eh alright. I would not recommend this if you’re looking for a good book.

Pretty good, nothing to complain about, would work for an airplane novel or the beach.

Lutz delivers a noir with some interesting characters, many of whom are the same person. To say more would be telling.

Good for folks who like mysteries.

One of Lisa Lutz' serious books. This one skirts the edge of "literature" while still being a tense drama. VERY hard to put down, and still touches of humor--but a darker kind than her Spellman series. Highly recommended.

This smart, fast-paced psychological thriller opens with Tanya Dubois’s husband dead at the bottom of the stairs and Tanya’s assertion that she is not responsible. This story has many twists and turns as the reader unravels the mystery of who Tanya really is.

Action packed thriller about a woman running from her past , assuming many identities , and ultimately going back to the beginning of her dilemma to solve her problem. Although very suspenseful, I thought the outcome was a little bit contrived. So-so but very entertaining.

It was very hard to put down. The action and suspense never let up. I finished it in one day. Not the sophisticated writing I am used to, nevertheless, a good read. I do love stories about women on the run from the bad guys! If you do, too, you would love Dean Koontz' Dark Rivers of the Heart.

it was ok, a bit sad and the ending seemed a bit unbelievable and hurried

I enjoyed this book. The 'surprise' was not that big a shock. Narration was very good.
