Average at best, imo. Very misleading description as it makes it sound as if it's about spying and intrigue but is really about the relationships between the 4 main characters. Not the most exciting read and it's very predictable, nothing keeps you guessing. Plus a supporting character's part in the story is wrapped up in a very unbelievable and coincidental way, which would be bad enough, but then it ties in to the fate of a main character and makes the entire ending of the story more than a bit ridiculous and convenient. It's almost as if the writer couldn't figure out a believable way to tie everything together and wrap up the story so he just slapped something together without any thought as to how ridiculous it was. Definitely a book you can overlook unless there's nothing else around to read.
