Another enjoyable read from Kelly Long. Some was quite dramatic, relating to Priscilla's & Hollie's background of domestic violence. A way to forgiveness and redemption is offered. One passage with a moral tidbit that I liked: "We rarely want what Gott chooses to give us ... We take the gifts wrapped in bright paper and the ones in oil cloth all the same." (p. 125)

This book and I imagine the others in this series are smutty and very descriptive about what goes on in the bedroom. Would not consider this to be Christian reading material. If you want to read good clean books, stay away from these ones.

I checked out this book expecting it to be more inspiring Amish fiction. It was more like soft porn. The very first paragraph, if not the very first sentence takes you to a woman leering at an Amish man and thinking about how she tricked him into taking his shirt off so she could look at his chest. I did not choose to read beyond the first page and flipping through a few random pages to see if it got better. Big disappointment!
