One of the most daring and cutting edge artists in pop music is back with her third studio album. Lady Gaga holds nothing back as she creates a totally immersive musical experience that includes the single Applause.

GOOD 2013 CD with 15 cuts by talented Lady Gaga. Sometimes her flamboyant stage persona tends to overshadow her singing, but I rather enjoyed this CD musically and will check out more of her work.

Applause tops the song list and G.U.Y. was a close second. Another excellent artistic work from the diva after her 2015 Oscar performance of The Sound of Music Medley.

Others would consider Lady Gaga an Idol, A Role Model, but I will not consider her any of the above. The Artwork was too ART-Y other then that I would recommend anyone that is a fan of Lady of Gaga. As of late she let herself go she use to be good back 4-6 years ago just saying.

i am not a very big fan of lady gaga i think she is inarprete for little girls i mean i never really liked lady gaga anyway but if other kids like her i don't mind i don't say anything bad about any singer i just barrowed her newest album now and well i have not listen to it yet but i will and in 2013 Halloween dance they put the song by her it's called applause everyone would clap to that song in the hallween dance me too evan thought i'm not into her but i just went with it it's too bad you didn't get her cd with the dvd i would like to watch it on dvd .

This wasn't the worst Music CD I've ever heard, it is far from being good not worth the long library wait!!!!

Very art-y. Very pop-y. Very disappointing.

I was expecting much better. Gaga has a great voice, but this cd did nothing for me to the point of disappointment..

Solid composition and production. I like the Jeff Koons jacket photo.

Lady Gaga is a legitimate pop artist.

This two words sum up this Music CD it was really terrible!!!!!!!!

Santa Monica Staff Jan 04, 2014

While it’s stronger than the messy ‘Born This Way’, ‘Artpop’ feels little more culture-quaking than a good collection of fun, silly, well-crafted pop songs. ‘Swine’ is a romping, ridiculous synth blart, Gaga barking, “You’re just a pig inside a human body/Squealer, oh you’re so disgusting”. ‘Venus’ is silly Barbarella sci-fi disco, camping it up to the edge of the solar system (complete with Uranus puns), while ‘Sexxx Dreams’ deploys Princey falsetto over Daft Punk disco-rush.

When things try to get more ‘serious’, they go awry. The point she’s trying to make by tying in her points about the gloriously hollow lure of fame with references to the burqa on ‘Aura’ remains vague, as it does on the Amsterdam red light district sleaze of ‘Mary Jane Holland’, which closes with what sounds like Gaga sparking up a fat one. Sonically, the album freshens up Gaga’s glammy, industrial romp with the gloss of Daft Punk’s ‘Discovery’ (whose wildly arpeggiating guitars are all over this) and brostep boshing. It’s a decent pop record. That’s it.
