This is an interesting look at the hard life of poor and orphaned girls in London. Two sisters, Flora and Rosie, who are orphaned sell flowers to make enough money to survive. Flora uses a cane to walk and Rosie is almost blind. They are separated and for the rest of her life Flora looks for Rosie. She writes in a journal which is found years later by Tilly Harper. Both Flora and Tilly work for Mr. Shaw in one of his homes for Flower Girls. Tilly decides to find Rosie for Flora and give her the things she has found. Based on fact this is lovely story about love and family.
