I admit that this book really isn't my genre. I picked it up for my wife and ended up listening to it as I was between books for my commute.
That being said, this has to have been the worst audio book to which I have ever listened; and I have heard my share of crappy books.
Truly, adjectives fail me. Although "trite", "vapid" and "cliched" certainly come to mind.
Amazingly I listened to the entire book. I can't explain this. It must be due to some previously unplumbed well of masochism; akin to the compulsion to stare at Michael Jackson pictures on the tabloids when checking out groceries. My wife couldn't make it through the first CD of this tripe.
Don't say I didn't warn you!
